For the last year or so I've had my eye out for a particular background that I just love. I knew I could purchase it new, but it would take 6 months to receive it (because they're custom painted when you buy it, you can't buy one "off the shelf"), and quite frankly, I'm not that patient. So I kept my eye out for a "used" one. A few of them came up for sale, but I was never fast enough to grab it. Well, about a week ago, I happened to log on to one of my favorite photography forums and sure enough, there was a listing for this background, and it was less than 30 minutes old. I sent a note to the seller and was thrilled to find out that I was first in line. It arrived yesterday, we got it hung, and I hauled my sweet kids down to the studio today to try it out. It's a beautiful mixture of blues and yellows, and I just love it. My poor kids were good sports - they get to "try out" a lot of things for mom. Even the dog participated in the fun.
