I frequently talk to moms and dads who are concerned about bringing their children to a photographer. For a variety of reasons, really. They may have had a bad experience in the past, the children might be really shy, they might be wary of strangers... the list goes on and on. When these little cuties came in, one of the first things mom told me was "he's shy." Well, actually, he's 1. I like a challenge, right? Well, honestly, it didn't take long for Xavier to break loose in the studio. He found some furniture he was quite fond of, so we just went with it. Little Miss Leah was not shy of the camera... she figured out that it was fun to change her head or move her shoulders or change her expression every time she saw the lights flash. Works for me! Watch out mom & dad... you may have a model in the making there. Here are a few of my favorites from their session. We even convinced mom & dad to join in the fun.
